Founded in 2017 in Nairobi, Kenya, Iliad Media Ltd was born with a bold vision: to inform, inspire, and ignite change. We exist to connect individuals, businesses, NGOs, and governments to greener and bluer solutions – without the corporate jargon or unreachable price tags. We’re building a movement where socially conscious storytelling meets bold, locally-driven innovation.
Every story starts with a challenge
Ours was clear: Despite East Africa grappling with the impacts of climate change, deforestation, pollution, food insecurity, and social injustice, mainstream media barely scratched the surface. Sustainability, climate justice, and corporate ethics were either under-reported or served up through a foreign lens—disconnected from the everyday lives of East Africans.
We saw an urgent need for media that speaks the local language, understands the local heartbeat, and champions local solutions.

That’s why we created Iliad Media Ltd—to fill that gap with purpose-driven content and community. We believe media can do more than inform; it can transform.
